A trip of this magnitude, just like any other extended self-supported trip requires lot of one thing - gear. Gear is the stuff that one takes with them, but what differenciates it from stuff is that it is cool. Cool because it performs, hopefully well. Most importantly on a trip like this is the balance of taking everything needed and taking nothing that is not. After all, you are the one carrying it up every single hill.

Equipment List

Here is a checklist and detailed info on gear that I took with me. You will need Adobe® Reader® to view these files.

If you don't have Adobe Reader and for some reason refuse to download such an essential web tool, than here is an .html version. It isn't as easy to read and not very suitable for utilizing for your own trip, but it's your call.
